  • Yes. JustVoice is a signed and notarized macOS application. It's built with Tauri (Rust) and processes all audio locally on your device. No audio or transcript data is ever sent to external servers — there is no cloud behind JustVoice dictation.
  • Yes. JustVoice supports Intel Macs running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. The Whisper model runs on CPU on Intel Macs, which works but is slower than the GPU-accelerated experience on Apple Silicon (M1–M4). We recommend Apple Silicon for the best performance.
  • The installer is approximately 190 MB (includes the bundled Whisper model). Larger models — all included with the lifetime license — range from 150 MB to 1.5 GB depending on which you choose.
