JustVoice

Our story

We speak at 150 WPM.
We type at 40.

JustVoice exists to close that gap, without sending your voice to a stranger's server.

Mission

Why we built JustVoice

We speak at around 150 words per minute. We type at 40. That gap represents billions of lost ideas every day, thoughts that fade before fingers can catch them.

Existing dictation tools either send your voice to someone else's servers, produce sloppy output full of errors, or both. We wanted something different: a tool that processes your voice locally on your own machine, cleans up the result, and works in any app without friction.

So we built JustVoice, a macOS-native transcription app powered by GPU-accelerated Whisper. It is 100% local: your voice and your words never touch the cloud. Not our servers, not anyone's. No server ever sees a transcript. Your thoughts stay yours.

Our pricing reflects the same philosophy. JustVoice is $35, once, for a lifetime license. We'd rather sell you software once than rent it to you forever, and a tool that runs entirely on your Mac shouldn't charge you monthly for someone else's servers.

What guides us

Three things, every release

01

Privacy first

Your voice data stays on your device, period. We don't monetize your data, and we never will.

02

Speed over everything

From keystroke to finished text, every millisecond counts. We optimize relentlessly, Rust, Metal, no Electron.

03

Crafted with care

Every interaction is intentional. Tools should feel calm, natural, and respectful of your attention.

Try the difference local makes.

Download the app, start speaking, and feel the difference local-first transcription makes.
